Audition

I had an awesome audition yesterday for a Target Commercial. I have always wanted to do a commercial where dance is involved, and this is the first chance I've had. Callbacks will be Monday, so we shall see!

In other news, my sister got a job! She is still finishing her last year of college but has already gotten one job offer! I'm so proud of her! Congratulations, Laura!:)

This is Dayna, my roommate from New York City who recently moved to LA. She is the lead singer of the band, Subvrosa, who I went to watch sing on Friday night.

Dinner Party

I had a bunch of friends over last night for dinner and games and we had SOOO much fun. About 15 people came over and we played Spoons and Taboo and Mafia. It was an interesting mix of my friends that I have met various places since I have been living in LA but everyone got along really well. We colored hard boiled eggs and had a plastic egg hunt too. There was a three way tie for the egg hunt and the tie breaker was a relay race.

Drill Bit Taylor

Drill Bit Taylor was such a cute movie! I laughed out loud numerous times and the three main kids were all foils for each other and they were great. The plot was well thought out and I really enjoyed it. I highly recommend it. There is some language in it as well as fist fighting, so definitely pay attention to the PG 13 rating. Make sure to check out Nate Hartley's performance. He is the tall, skinny kid and the one who I went to support.

This evening I went to an awesome little coffee house called "Awakenings". My roommate from New York City moved to Los Angeles about 8 months ago and she is now in a band that played there tonight. Their band name is Subvrosa and they are actually really good! She has an amazing voice and all of the musicians in the band are wonderful.
