Subway

Laura and Stepf got tickets to see "Wicked" at the Pantageous Theatre and when the show was over I gave them directions on how to use the Los Angeles subway to get back to my apartment. Apparently they had no paper so while I was talking, Laura made her hands into a map and when she ran out of space, she grabbed Stepf's hand and continued. See Photo:)

Media

I was watching the movie "For Your Consideration" tonight and I realized that the media is a very powerful thing! All it takes is for someone to start a rumor and someone else to believe and spread it and soon enough there is HUGE buzz.

I think I just need to say "I'm the next big thing" and in a few weeks my "E! True Hollywood Story" will be the most watched thing on E! You heard it here first guys:)

Come On Down!

Bob Barker of the Price is Right is retiring so CBS is having auditions for replacements. They have it narrowed down and they are having live tapings of the screen tests of possible hosts.

Stef, Laura and I went to a live taping and Stef got called down to play Plinko and she won $900! She would have won $12,100 but since it was unfortunately a non-air taping, they were only giving away a percentage of the prizes won!
Mario Lopez aka Slater from Saved by the Bell was one of the guest hosts so that was totally cool!

P.S. HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!:)

City Girl Goes Hiking

Today I hiked up HOLLYWOOD HILL with my sister, Laura, her friend, Steph and my friends Clint, Eric and Daniel. It was a three hour uphill climb that ended on the back side of the famous Hollywood sign. It is now illegal to go down and touch the sign because there were a lot of vandals and several suicides but it is amazing to get as close as you can and see the sign, because it is HUGE.

It was very metaphoric and inspiring for me. If I can climb to the top of the sign, I can climb to the top of my career as an actress. It was not an easy hike and there was a snake that slithered across our path. Reminded me of some snakes I've met out here that don't care who they have to step on to get to the top. Also, one part of the trial is straight up and you have to climb rocks and dirt that slides out from under your feet. I lost my footing and slid down about three feet, but I managed to get back up and make it to the top. I may not book every audition but I definitely get back out there and book the next one!:)

This picture is of Laura and Steph at the bottom of the path we hiked.
