National T-Mobile

I had planned a meeting for 11:00 yesterday morning and I was literally around the corner from where I was supposed to be at about 10:45 and my agent called to tell me that I had an audition back in the direction at 12:15.

Fortunately I had a portable GPS system with me so I was able to call my 11:00 and re schedule it for 2:00 and then go to my audition.

The audition was for a national T-Mobile commercial. I really hope I book it!

Ian Ziering

Before work yesterday, I went out to "The Griddle" on Sunset and Fairfax for breakfast with my roommates. While we were there we noticed that Ian Ziering from "Dancing With the Stars" and "Beverly Hills 90210" was eating breakfast across the restaurant.

On my way out, I stopped and said to him "Hey, I hope you win "Dancing With the Stars"" (which is the truth because I think he is the best one on that show this season) and he looked up excitedly and was like, "Thank you so much! Make sure you vote for me!" and I was like "I am" and he said "Thank you!"

Moral of the story, Ian Ziering is SUPER nice and totally deserves to win "Dancing With the Stars" this season, so watch and vote for him:)

Crazy!

Yesterday one of our boom microphone operators got into an argument with our sound man and the boom operator quit before lunch. The amazing thing is how expendable you are . They say that everyone is important but really it seems that just every JOB is important.

By the time the company was back from lunch there was a new boom operator to take his place. The weirdest part is that he has the same name as the old one! It just goes to show never burn bridges and do a good job at everything you do because if you don't, someone else will!

Inside Info

Yesterday we shot a scene with an actress at the kitchen sink and something amazing happened. When they were trying to cover the shot they needed to have the camera on the side of the kitchen that was blocked by a wall so they simply removed the wall!

It was so crazy, kind of like the elevator thing I talked about in a previous blog. When you are there, you are standing in a kitchen and you feel like you are in a kitchen but when you look at the opened wall it breaks the reality of the situation.

The scene we were shooting is part of the season finale. It is kinda cool to know what happens in episode 12 while the rest of the world is seeing episode 3 for the first time! Episode 3 was soooo two months ago:)

Audition

I auditioned for an independent film called "Half Court Push" today. It is a film that is being made as part of a great program that encourages young female directors to follow their dreams and make films. I auditioned for the role of a high school senior badminton player and I think it went well. I will post more details when I hear back from them!
