THE RICHES

According to the "Hollywood Reporter", one of the industry trade papers, "The Riches" is officially done shooting for the season! Even though we have only completed 7 of the 13 episodes that were supposed to be done, the season is over. If the 7 episodes are well received, there will be a third season, however, if ratings are low, then that's it :/ To read the article,

More Changes

I found a web designer! We have been working on the plans for my totally redesigned website and he will be starting to actually set it up early next week. It should be totally up and running in a month or so. I will post a link as soon as it is ready!

Also, I have a new credit on the Internet Movie Database (www.IMDB.com). When I was working as a production assistant for a few days on a movie for the Hallmark Channel, I earned screen credit! CLICK HERE to check it out:)

Note From My Editors

Dear readers,

DailyRecord.com is currently in the process of a significant redesign that will change -- but also improve -- many of the site's interactive features, including blogs, StoryChat and forums.

The centerpiece of the redesigned DailyRecord.com will be a social networking tool, SiteLife, that will expand your ability to comment on articles, issues and opinions across the site. SiteLife also will allow users to track their own comments, their friends' comments and comments on specific issues and blog postings. SiteLilfe also allows users to upload photos, link up with other users and maintain a personal blog.

The conversion comes with one inconvenience, however: We are unable to transfer the current index of registered users to the new site, meaning individuals must re-register with DailyRecord.com in order to use the new interactive tools. It will, however, be a quick and relatively painless process, requiring only a very short registration form.

The redesign process is already under way. Sometime in mid- to late February, we plan an invitation-only "soft launch," meant to allow us to thoroughly test the new beta site before it goes live in mid-March. To help us, we are inviting current users to help out by joining DailyRecord.com and SiteLife during the test period by registering and navigating the new site, using its new features and offering feedback that will help weed out bugs and problems before the public launch.

If you would like to participate in testing the new DailyRecord.com, drop our online staff a note by e-mailing jnamiotk@gannett.com. Please include your current username, if you have one, as well as your real name and online contact information. Please include the word "Beta" in the subject line. Please do NOT reply to this post.

Those selected will be contacted by e-mail before the beta launch.

Here's what won't change: Our Web address will stay the same -- www.dailyrecord.com. So will the addresses for specific sections and features, meaning your current bookmarks will continue to work after the redesign. DailyRecord.com will continue to offer the best Morris County news coverage, as well as breaking news updates all day long, columnists and bloggers, and coverage of pro and high school sports. Your favorite DailyRecord.com features will still be here, plus many new features we hope you will enjoy.

Weekend

Unfortunately, the photo from Carnival did not turn out! My cousin is in San Francisco for a few days and hopefully when he comes back through Los Angeles we will get a good picture that I can post.

My roommates came back from Antarctica on Friday and they both said that it was a life changing experience.

Saturday morning I went to an exercise class with my friend, Athena called "Cardio Barre". It was AWESOME. It was a mix between a dance class and a jazzercise class. I woke up Sunday morning sooo sore.

I was invited to three parties on Saturday night and I ended up not attending any of them! Instead, my cousin did his one-man play for my roommates and me. He is VERY talented and the show was quite funny. I would love to see it full out with costumes and on a stage.

Sunday I went to my friend, Todd's house to watch the Superbowl and Superbowl commercials. He has a projector television so whenever the "wrong" team did something good, the boys threw things at the wall, since there was no breakable TV. It was all in good fun and quite amusing. After the game everyone hung out for awhile and played that Guitar Hero Rock Band game.
