Recap

WOW! This was a really busy, very exciting week for me. I changed representation and I am really happy with my new agent. I have already had a commercial audition this week for a theme park. Keep your fingers crossed for me. I had the audition yesterday and the commercial shoots next Wednesday.

I am enjoying my new job and I have made some friends at work. In the evenings this week after work I visited some of LA's hot spots with people from work such as Hamburger Mary's and my favorite, Tea Garden!

Speaking of Tea Garden, Dr. Tea's book has been out for a few weeks and it is selling really well. He had a book launch party at a Borders bookstore in Century City that I attended. Since his theme color is orange, it was an "ORANGE CARPET" event. There was tea infused food and beverages and he spoke and signed books. It was a really nice event.

I have a busy weekend planned, half playing catch up and half hanging out with friends, so there will be more posts to come!

Busy Weekend

After working a 45 hour week, I had such a busy weekend! Having just gotten back to LA from the Holidays, I had a lot of places to go and people to see. I ran errands this morning and spent the afternoon watching football with a bunch of friends. This evening I have been catching up around the house and getting things ready for work. I have a feeling this could be a big week for me...more news (hopefully) to follow!

Friday night after work I went out dancing with one of the girls I work with and a bunch of her friends. It was really fun and it reminded me of a dance place I used to go to on the weekends when I lived in New York City.

Yesterday I spent most of the day at Universal Studios Theme Park. It was cool to go because I have not been there since before I lived in Los Angeles when my family was on vacation in California once. Both my friend and I were called onto stage for audience participation during one of the shows. While we were there we saw most of the shows and rode rides. We went on the Hollywood Backlot tour, which was really interesting now that we both work in the industry.
