Slip

Yesterday morning I was trying to be neighborly and hold the door opened for two guys who live in my building who were walking out behind me and I managed to fall flat on my back.

Here's what happened. The sprinklers water the grass on both side of the path up to my apartment and they wet the fake marble ground up to the door as well. I was holding the door opened and I took a step forward and slipped on the wet ground...Boom!

The funny thing is, it didn't ruin my morning and I wasn't embarrassed ->go figure:)

Self Motivated

To be an actor, it is imperative to be self-motivated. There are many days when work is slow, so you have to plan tasks that will help your career move forward.

I had a Table Read for "The Riches" this morning but by 11:30AM I was done working! I have friends out here who are actors who despise free time but I get a lot done. I had time to write, do errands and look for work during hiatus. Over the break I plan to be in a play that rehearses in the evenings and have auditions for film and television during the day, now that I have representation. My current task on days off and weekends is auditioning for theater and finding that perfect play to work on to keep the plan in place:)

Production Assistant

I have the day off from "The Riches" today so I am going to be working as a production assistant on a movie called "Black Friday!". I have only been a PA one other time, so it is a semi-new experience but it was fun last time to see another job in the industry. I have to be on set by 6:45 AM though and the location is about an hour away! At least I will beat the morning traffic!

Wind

It is so windy in Los Angeles right now. The sky is grey and the palm trees are sweying. I have not seen this much wind since I lived in Chicago. Check out this picture I took!

Trojan Pie

I went to see a wonderful play this evening called "Trojan Pie". All of the actors in the cast did a great job and the play was really funny. Unfortunately the show was not sold out, which is surprising because everyone that I know who has seen it loves it.
