So there is an official date set in April for the premier of the movie I was in. It looks like the title will be changing from "The River" but I don't know what the new title is yet. It is a dress up event and I will be flying back to Arkansas so I will see everyone I worked with again, which will be so great! I haven't heard back on any of my commercial auditions from last week but I feel good about this upcoming week! It is time to book something else!
Last night I went to a friend's birthday party and I ran into a bunch of people who went to the high school I would have gone to in Chicago if my family hadn't moved. One of them I had actually met before, four years ago on a visit to Illinois! It is such a small world!

Park!
So far it has been a slow week for auditions but I found an awesome park that has EVERYTHING! Basketball courts, a playground, tennis courts, a baseball diamond, a walking track, a field for Frisbee/football etc. The last two days I have spent several hours during the day with friends playing any and all sports. The weather in Los Angeles is AMAZING right now, not too hot but warm and sunny:)

Screening/Weekend

The first screening of The River went really well. It is very interesting to watch a movie you are in with a bunch of people who just come to see the movie! I think people enjoyed it and there was a lot of laughing and crying at the appropriate moments throughout. Afterward, I got feedback from a few friends who came to see it and I also talked with some people who I didn't know that came up and introduced themselves and shook my hand!
This weekend I spent a lot of time with some friends in Pasadena. Two of my friends have out of town visitors here so we took them to Santa Monica and dipped our feet in the freezing cold ocean. Yesterday I went and played Mini Golf with 22 of my closest friends (see picture above) for our friend Phil's birthday. We got a round of Mini Golf and 10 tokens for the arcade for $6.50 per person, which is a steal! It was a lot of fun and the weekend ended with dinner at Outback Steakhouse.
I'm waiting to hear back about an audition I had on Friday for a Subway commercial starring a football player that will (hopefully)be a Superbowl commercial. I have always wanted to be in a commercial for the Superbowl.
