T-Mobile Day #2

So shooting the second day was just as much fun as the first. I got to "work" at 7PM and had my hair and make-up done the same way it was on Tuesday.

The cast was taken to set around 9:00 and we worked from 9:00 PM until 7:30 AM with a 1 hour break for "lunch" at 1:00 AM! Ah the movie business:) It was fun, though because we all went back to one trailer and just chilled and relaxed. Many people have no idea that it takes at least two 12 hour days to put together a 30 second commercial.

I am going to wait on putting a link to the pictures because Courtney, the girl who has most of them hasn't posted them yet. Once they are up, I will post another blog.

My mom keeps asking if I met Catherine Zeta Jones since she used to do all of the T-Mobile commercials, and the answer to that is no. This spot is about me, not her...JUST KIDDING

T-Mobile

Okay so I am going to wait a day to post about last night's shoot for 2 reasons:

One is that the shoot was from 7PM to 7:30AM so I am exhausted (in a good way)

Reason two is that one of the other girls is supposed to e-mail me pictures that she took at the shoot to go with mine so I want to wait a day so that the pictures will be all together. (If she doesn't get them to me by tomorrow I will just post mine with the blog and post hers whenever)

BLOG TOMORROW YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS:)

T-Mobile Commercial

Day One of shooting:

I arrived on set a few minutes before my 6:45AM call time. I checked in with the 2nd AD and then I ate some fruit for breakfast. After breakfast I went to hair and make up and then went to my trailer to change into my wardrobe.

I signed my contract and got my wardrobe approved. Then the 2nd 2nd AD knocked on my door and said that he would be coming to get me when it was time for me to shoot.

I read for awhile and then several of the other actors decided to hang out all together so I went outside and made some friends. Only two of the actors worked before lunch, we ate and then got hair and make up touch ups.

My part of shooting went really well. It was so nice to have them light the set and then be in front of the camera when they say action. It felt amazing to hit my own marks rather than practice hitting someone else's:)

I go back and shoot again on Thursday, it is a night shoot so I will be on set from 8PM until 8AM.

The spot will start running between 2 and 8 weeks from now!:) :) :) :)

FITTING

I went to my T-Mobile wardrobe fitting yesterday. It was really fun because they had tons of really cute little outfits and shoes for me to try on. I brought some of my own clothes as well and they looked at those. As I played dress up they took a bunch of pictures to show the director. He picked out what I am going to wear to the shoot today and they put the clothes in a wardrobe bag for me. I'm so excited:)

Vegas

Las Vegas was amazing. My parents had a really nice anniversary, and so did my grandparents. I stayed with a friend of mine from NYC who moved to Vegas a few months after I moved to LA. He teaches at a ballroom dancing studio and they had a party which I attened and I brushed up on my swing and salsa skills.

My mom and I played a wheel of fortune slot in the lobby of the Flamingo because everytime we walked by there we would win a little bit of money. We also pulled a gigantic slot at Ballys. I put in 3 bucks and 21 came out! (See picture above) Mom and I split all of our winnings and I walked away from the trip $37 up from where I started:)

I wrote a 50th anniversary song for my grandparents to the tune of Billy Joel's Piano Man and one for my parent's 25th to the tune of John Mellancamp's Jack and Diane. A friend of mine who came on the trip with me played the guitar while I sang.

All in all it was a great weekend and hearing that I booked the commercial was icing on the cake. I have a wardrobe fitting this afternoon which I will write about tomorrow and then I shoot my first National T-Mobile spot Tuesday and my second one on Thursday!!!!!
