Check Engine Light
My check engine light is on AGAIN! I have to drive all the way back to the mechanic's today to see what's wrong with the car. It is most likely just a connector on what he fixed last week, but I really thought it was fixed! When I called my mechanic to see what he thought could be wrong, he said "well, if I can't figure it out, I will just get rid of your check engine light!" He was kidding but at this point since I just got the car fixed I'm hoping it is nothing!

Just so you know, the check engine light comes on when the gas cap hasn't been closed properly. If you tighten it, it won't go off RIGHT away but it will go off soon.
Thank you for the advice. I actually did check the gas cap and my mechanic was too busy the other day so I am supposed to take it back on Monday. The light is still on but I will get gas and check it again tomorrow and hopefully it will be off before I have to drive all the way back to the mechanic.
